About Me

Originally from Italy, I have spent most of my adult life living in France, the UK and now in Brussels.

While spending, 15 years ago, my last University year in Paris, to improve my French and to write my Thesis, I changed career paths after participating in several trips and tasting courses in Champagne.

The inspirational experience led to a 1-year full-time professional course at the AIS (International Sommelier Association), earning the diploma “Sommelier ” and led to 1 more year tasting and visiting wineries alla round Europe.

The knowledge and experience I accrued launched me into my first position in the wine business at Valle Reale Winery, in Abruzzo, as Public Realtions Manager. My role was establish strong working relationships with lay and specialized media, organizing media events with national and regional press, development of press-packs tailored for specific target, plan and oversee press and best clients events locally and off-site.

Move to Bruxelles led to role of Sales Manager for De Coninck Wines & Spirits, one of the country’s top wine dealers as well as wine buyer , an award-winning fine wine merchant, renowned for its Burgundy and Bordeaux list and wine properties in Bordeaux.

Over the past 3 years, I have represented and sold wines and exclusive labels from producers across all categories, focusing on classic wine regions of Europe, particularly France and Italy, as well as a number of New World countries. I estimated  fine wine private collections and hosted tasting of the most rare and expensive wines in the world. All the while, I was developing a vast network of contacts along the way.

Outside of commercial projects, speaking and inspiring others about wine has been one of my most enjoyed activities. I organize and hoste wine tastings, dinners, tasting trips to wine regions, educational wine courses and team bulding events and count the WSET Advance certification amongst my credentials.

When time allows, I participate as a wine judge in such competitions as International Wine Challenge (London, UK).
